Our Mission

Kinder-Woods provides space for young children to play in nature, experience, experiment, and learn through interactions with other children in a peaceful, creative, and healthy encounter; all under the gentle guidance of an experienced teacher. I aim to establish a permanent home in the Berkshires in a mature forest, and to offer a Forest Kindergarten: A small Kindergarten directly connected to nature through a Play-Forest. Here we will also host an After school program and Summer Camp. Kinder-Woods is aiming to become a safe play space in nature serving the community at large.

Parent : "Our children were wonderfully nurtured and cared for by Corinna at Kinder-Woods. They were always excited to do arts and crafts, including beautiful handwork, in the teepee, and visit the animals on the beautiful land. Most importantly though, was Corinna's kind, patient, and good-humored approach to caring for children. We always knew our children would be respected, uplifted, and filled with simple outdoor fun when we picked them up at the end of the day.", Noah
Parent :“Our daughter absolutely loved her time at Kinder-woods. The combination of nature-based learning and exploration and small group setting were the perfect match for her” , Dustin.

Allow your children to play and learn through playing! It is THE most important activity for a young child. In play they can  grow  in a healthy and holistic way, allowing their bodies and brains to develop  their full potential.
